Paint depth readings
We take gauge readings before and after every correction, write them down and hand them to you.
About us
We've been detailing cars in the Puget Sound since 2015. Four bays in Fremont, a climate-controlled coating room, and IDA-certified technicians.
Baby Blanket started in 2015 in one rented bay off Aurora Ave N, with a single polisher and an extractor borrowed from a friend. The name came from a customer watching us tape up his car. He said we were handling it like a baby blanket, and it stuck.
Eleven years on there are four bays, a climate-controlled coating room and a crew of IDA-certified techs. We still tape up every car the same way.
We measure paint before we cut it and we hand you the readings. When the right answer is a hundred-dollar polish rather than a two-thousand-dollar coating, that's what we quote. Most of our work now comes from people we detailed years ago, or from someone they sent us.
We take gauge readings before and after every correction, write them down and hand them to you.
A coating holds whatever is underneath it in place for years, so the paint gets corrected first.
Every package is quoted on the site. The price only changes if the car needs more than the package covers, and only once you agree to it.
We go over the finished car with you under the shop lights before you drive off.
