Privacy Policy

We collect two kinds of information: what you give us when you book or get in touch, and what your browser tells us when you visit.

**What you give us** When you book a detail or send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone number, vehicle details, and the address where you want mobile work done. We use it to schedule the job, contact you about it, and keep a record of work we have done on your vehicle. We do not sell it and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

**What we collect automatically** Two systems watch how the site gets used. The first is ours and runs on our own servers: when you visit we record your IP address, the pages you view, the links and buttons you click, how long you stay on a page, how far you scroll, the site or search engine that sent you, and your device, browser, operating system, screen size and language.

The second is Google Analytics. It records much the same thing, minus your IP address, and sends it to Google rather than to us. Google processes it under its own terms and gives us the reports back as totals and charts. We have not turned on Google's advertising features, so this is not used to target ads at you anywhere else.

An IP address counts as personal information, so we are telling you plainly that we store it. We use this to see which pages and services people actually use, to find pages that are broken or confusing, and to know whether our advertising works. We do not build a marketing profile of you and we do not sell it.

**Cookies** Google Analytics sets cookies on this site. They are named _ga and _ga_ followed by a code, they hold a randomly generated number that lets Google tell one browser apart from another, and they last up to two years. There is no Meta Pixel and no advertising tracker.

Our own analytics sets no cookies at all. It keeps one temporary identifier in your browser's session storage so that several pages viewed in one sitting count as one visit, and that is cleared when you close the tab.

You can refuse the Google cookies. Block or delete them in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The site works exactly the same either way.

**How long we keep it** The analytics we hold ourselves is deleted automatically after 12 months. Google keeps its own copy for as long as the retention setting on our Analytics property allows, which can be up to 14 months. Booking and enquiry records are kept for 7 years, because they are business records and Washington State requires it for tax purposes.

**Who else sees it** Our website and database run on servers we rent. Google receives the analytics described above. Email you send us passes through our email provider. Nobody else receives your information unless the law requires it.

**Your rights** Email info@babyblanketllc.com to ask for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted. For analytics data, tell us roughly when you visited and we will find and delete it. We respond within 30 days. If you are covered by a state privacy law such as the Washington My Health My Data Act or the California Consumer Privacy Act, those rights apply and we will honor them.

**Children** This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

**Security** The site runs over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and admin access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfect, and we will tell you if a breach affects your information.

**Changes** If we change this policy we will update the date above.
