What this actually is
A ceramic coating is a semi-permanent layer bonded to your clear coat. Water sheets off it, contamination has a harder time bonding to it, and the car takes less work to wash.
We correct the paint before we coat it, every time. A coating holds whatever is underneath it in place for years, so swirls that go under a nine-year coating stay there for nine years. Every coating package includes the correction its tier calls for. Coatings cure indoors in our climate-controlled bay for at least 24 hours.

Every stage below happens on every car. Skipping one is how a cheaper quote gets cheaper, and how the result stops lasting.
Decontaminate
Chemical and mechanical decon. Nothing bonded stays on the panel.
Correct
Defects removed to the level your tier calls for.
Panel wipe
Every panel stripped with an IPA wipedown so the coating bonds to bare clear coat.
Apply and level
Applied panel by panel under controlled light, leveled before it flashes.
Cure
24 hours indoors minimum before the car sees weather.
