What this actually is

People call them water marks, or dirt, or just say the car looks tired. Swirls are thousands of shallow scratches in the clear coat throwing light in every direction, which is why the paint looks hazy in sun and fine under cloud. A filler glaze will cover them for a wash or two, but machine polishing is what actually removes them.

We measure paint thickness before we start and keep measuring as we go, and you get the readings in writing. Clear coat is finite, so we stop well short of it. Single stage handles most daily drivers. Two stage is for paint that has been neglected or badly marred.

The method

How paint correction is done here

Every stage below happens on every car. Skipping one is how a cheaper quote gets cheaper, and how the result stops lasting.

  1. Measure

Digital gauge readings across every panel, written down and shared with you.

  2. Test spot

We prove the pad and compound on one panel and show you the difference before committing to the whole car.

  3. Cut

The cutting stage takes the defects out at their depth.

  4. Refine

A finishing polish clears whatever haze the cutting stage left behind.

  5. Inspect

IPA wipedown, then LED and halogen. Nothing filled, nothing hidden.
