Terms of Service

These terms cover work booked through this website or by phone with Baby Blanket, operated by Babyblanketllc, LLC, of 4200 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103.

**Booking and prices** Prices on this site are set by vehicle size and are what you pay for the work described in that package. A booking is a request until we confirm it by email or phone.

If your vehicle needs materially more work than the package covers we will tell you before we start, and you can accept the revised price, drop to a smaller package, or cancel at no charge. We do not add charges afterwards.

**Deposits and cancellation** Detailing packages need no deposit. Ceramic coating and paint protection film need 25 percent up front because they hold a bay for several days. It comes off the final invoice and is refundable up to 48 hours before your appointment. Inside 48 hours we keep it, since the slot can rarely be refilled.

Cancel or reschedule a detailing appointment any time before the day. If nobody is there for a mobile appointment and we cannot reach you, we may charge a callout fee.

**Mobile appointments** We need a parking space with about three feet of clearance each side. We bring our own water and power. We cannot work in a space we cannot safely access, and severe weather may force a reschedule.

**Your vehicle** Take your valuables out before we start. We are not responsible for cash, electronics, documents or personal items left in the vehicle.

We photograph existing damage before we begin. Detailing often reveals defects the dirt was hiding, such as stone chips, previous paint repairs or worn trim. Revealing something that was already there is not damage we caused.

Some things detailing cannot fix: scratches through the clear coat, dents, torn or burned upholstery, cracked leather and permanent stains. We will tell you honestly what we can and cannot improve before we start.

**Warranties** Ceramic coatings carry the written warranty for their tier, provided the vehicle is maintained as we describe at handover and comes in for its annual inspection. Automatic brush washes, harsh chemicals and close-range pressure washing void it.

Paint protection film carries the manufacturer's warranty. Headlight restoration is warranted two years against re-yellowing. Warranties cover our workmanship and product failure, not accident damage, misuse or fair wear.

**If something is wrong** Tell us before you leave, or within 48 hours, and we will put it right at no charge. We walk around every vehicle with you under our lights before the keys go back, so nothing gets missed. Our liability is limited to redoing the work or refunding what you paid for it.

**Insurance** We are licensed and insured in Washington State and carry garage-keepers cover for vehicles left with us. Ask and we will email the certificate.

**Website content** Photographs of our work, our copy and our branding belong to us. Prices and availability can change.

**Governing law** These terms are governed by the laws of Washington State, and disputes belong to the courts of King County.
