A garage-kept car carrying dealer wash marks. It needed one light correction stage before the coating went on.
Four thousand miles on it and already swirled, nearly all of it out of the dealer's wash bay before delivery. We see that a lot.
The defects were shallow, so one refining stage cleared them with almost no clear coat lost. We put the gauge on the car before and after and gave the owner both sets of numbers. Under two microns of difference.
Five-year coating, plus a glass coating on the windshield and front side glass. Silver hides swirls well, which is how they sat there unnoticed for a year.
